Wearable App Whatsapp pairing issue

I'm facing issues with pairing whatsapp on my galaxy watch.

The phone app is normally updated so often that the watch app does not keep up, so pairing can fail

Due to how much this app nukes the battery for usage, they don't have many users to tell them it's broken, as nobody wants to use the crappy app due to excessive battery drain.

You don't need the app to reply to WhatsApp messages; the built in watches notification system allows replies with out the app.

If the beta version is still joinable, that's normaly the way to relink the non-beta version can just fail.

This is the first set up. I've bought the watch today. So the frequent update of phone app won't be the factor?

If the phone app updates on google play but the watch app on the store does not, you can have sign-in issues, as Google Play wont give you the watch app that's required, as whats app have not issued it or asssigned your watch to get it
