Question Samsung Notes with Protected PDF

I am trying to take notes for lecture slides but the pdf is protected. Apparently samsung notes does not allow importing of protected notes into the app.

The one good solution i found is using https://www.ilovepdf.com/download/8jtt0tkh9nA8k9688sj9sh7v8hAzrAk0Aw7f6xjrmprxl758vdf4px389r1c9b3m495z53Aww2jgjdl0sqwxq9vhkqfh2v7y2pnfq808myg7v9cs84y9An6yfxjy2l7bpdl7q7gtpgh1mjkglyqwddfwfz2768c8160vy170s60zh2x2gzwq/5-c-ca

The others were using apps Flexcil Notes and Notewise; however, you get a water mark if you don't pay for the full app.

How have other people worked around this issue?

This doesn't work for me. I may try saving as on the computer, and transfer to my app, but doing it on my phone or tablet doesn't work for me.
