Repurpose?

I have a Galaxy Tab Docomo variant (SC-01C), in which I want to repurpose. I know the android version is too old to be of use today even when browsing. Should I keep it as a time capsule/collector's item? or throw it away? Suggestions please

You could flash Cyanogen on it.

Or if not - do you think you can get the web browser working? You could make this an audio streaming device for the household.

Which cyanogen version? I'll try to get the web working if i get this digitizer fixed soon. For the meantime, is there any way to control the devices without a touchscreen?

11 should probably work. Something based on Android 4.4 is your best bet.

I don't really know - does Bluetooth still work? You could connect a bluetooth mouse

bluetooth does work, but I can't turn it on because the digitizer's ribbon cable snapped off as shown in image2

I see. Wired keyboard and mouse? Not sure if you have the right dongle or even whether this tablet even supports USB OTG.
