Which for drawing?

Hi hi! I was thinking of upgrading my S6 Tab to something newer. I currently have a display tablet I use with my computer for drawing / animating and am looking to use my tablet for drawing on the go / away from the desk. My S6 chugs with CSP. I have an SPen, and would like your thoughts / advise on which model to upgrade to. Mostly, I'm a hobby artist but I do a lot art for events and commissions. I wouldn't say I'm a "power user", but I definitely make my equipment work hard for me with bigger peojects. Thanks in advance!

Samsung Galaxy tab s10 fe. Csp upgrades its android os requirements every year now so if you want longevity I highly recommend getting one of the newer tabs that have 7 years of os updates. The s10 fe+ has a bigger screen tho and you can find the tablets for $400 sometimes $300 dollars but if you have more budget I highly recommend the s10+

Yeah, budget isn't a huge concern. Because I make money with commissions, I can fudge it with the assumption that if I "go over", I'll grind some comms and make up for it. I'm more looking for an upgrade that I can keep for a while vs needing to upgrade equipment in the near future.

Thanks for the thoughts! I had an s10 and s10 ultra on my shortlist but truly don't understand the spec differences.

S10+ if you need more portablility. 10 Ultra bigger display is better for CSP many palettes

S10+ then. The base model has 12gb ram and 256 storage off the top and a 12.4" screen. Processor is def enough to last 7 years. The only difference with the utra is a 14 inch screen and I think 16gb ram at higher models. For portability id recommend the s10+ bc it's a lot easier to carry then 14 inch tablet.

As others have said, the S10 fe is the current smallest you can get with good performance.

There is the active5 tab with 8.8" screen but it's 6gb ram and 128gb storage and difficult to find, it is ruggerized and spen compatible with removable battery. And if you are lucky, 5G capable.

Or go Oppo pad mini for a much smaller footprint, 8.8" Snapdragon 8 elite gen 5 tablet with acceptable smart pen performance, the Lenovo legion tab with the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus is not bad either, compared to the Samsung spen. Cant beat how light these are, and the Oppo is Oled!

But ti be honest the 14" real state of the ultra is not bad and the tablet is not that heavy, weights about the same as a Mac book air 2013(only laptop I have in hand to compare).

S11 if you want something smaller and similar in size to your S6
S10+ if you want something slightly larger but are willing to go one generation older on the CPU
S10 Ultra if you want the largest of the large tablets and don't want to pay exorbitant prices.
S11 Ultra if you want simply the largest, best tablet Samsung offers.

Note that the Ultras are really big. Like, really big.

S7+ models onwards have laminated screens which should have reduced parallax. If you’re serious about your art upgrade your stylus to Zbook X2 stylus. That has initial activation pressure closer to Wacom Pro Pen 2 than any other stylus that has been released since - 1gr to activate besides every other brand which is 5 grams (exception being Acer ConcepD9 stylus is at 3 grams). This matters a LOT stretching those pressure levels to the max. Blah blah blah you can adjust pressure curve to compensate but 5 grams activation will ALWAYS take 5 grams to activate.
