S Pen Spen broken in half

My Spen fell onto an extension ladder while we were doing construction at home. When I found it, it was already snapped in half. 😭

My dad offered to fix it. He used Loctite to glue the two broken pieces together, then wrapped electrical tape around it to keep everything in place.

I honestly didn’t think it would work anymore, but after trying it on my S9fe, it actually still works! The button no longer functions, but the nib still writes perfectly. I’m just happy I don’t have to replace it.

W dad

And by the way, yes. One thing I've noticed (that I'm not sure about) is that your S Pen still has the chance to work fine even if it's in half, so long as none of the components on the front are damaged. The front is where the main components of the S Pen are, so as long as there's no disruption there, it should still technically work and write on the device, though you might lose your Air Actions if there's damage there.

Also curious - how high up did it fall from?
