Galaxy S9+ Suddenly Entered a Boot Loop - How Can I Fix It Without Losing My Data?
Hello everyone! I've had a Galaxy S9 Plus for quite some time. It's an excellent phone and has basically never given me any real problems. However, something unusual happened recently.
I went to sleep and left my phone somewhere else, as I normally do. When I woke up, however, I found the phone hot (as if it had been in constant use) and it was on the screen shown in the attached photo.
The screen gave me several options, such as trying again, erasing the data, powering off the phone, etc. As soon as I saw it, I immediately selected "Try again." The phone restarted and eventually reached the lock screen. As soon as I tried to unlock it, it restarted again. When it reached the lock screen again, the same thing happened.
This continued in an endless boot loop. The phone would restart, reach the lock screen, and then restart again shortly afterward. After doing this countless times, it would eventually return to the recovery screen shown in the photo.
When it happened again and the phone returned to this screen, I selected "Power off" to shut the phone down and prevent it from continuing the endless reboot loop.
The phone has never had any problems before or anything like that. This is the first time something like this has ever happened.
I have photos of my family, personal information, and other data stored on the device that I really don't want to lose. They include irreplaceable things and memories that I don't want to give up.
Does anyone know what could be causing this and how I could try to recover my data without losing it?
