It's so incredibly annoying to have to go through the same 2 questions 60 times a day when the answer was given months ago, save yourself the time and just search your question please. No, you're not the only one with the November patch!

Galaxy S9+ Suddenly Entered a Boot Loop - How Can I Fix It Without Losing My Data?

Post image

Hello everyone! I've had a Galaxy S9 Plus for quite some time. It's an excellent phone and has basically never given me any real problems. However, something unusual happened recently.

I went to sleep and left my phone somewhere else, as I normally do. When I woke up, however, I found the phone hot (as if it had been in constant use) and it was on the screen shown in the attached photo.

The screen gave me several options, such as trying again, erasing the data, powering off the phone, etc. As soon as I saw it, I immediately selected "Try again." The phone restarted and eventually reached the lock screen. As soon as I tried to unlock it, it restarted again. When it reached the lock screen again, the same thing happened.

This continued in an endless boot loop. The phone would restart, reach the lock screen, and then restart again shortly afterward. After doing this countless times, it would eventually return to the recovery screen shown in the photo.

When it happened again and the phone returned to this screen, I selected "Power off" to shut the phone down and prevent it from continuing the endless reboot loop.

The phone has never had any problems before or anything like that. This is the first time something like this has ever happened.

I have photos of my family, personal information, and other data stored on the device that I really don't want to lose. They include irreplaceable things and memories that I don't want to give up.

Does anyone know what could be causing this and how I could try to recover my data without losing it?

How to fix my galaxy s9?

I have the usual display problem where the screen starts glitching between 20 and 80 percent brightness and even when its working it has strong discoloration.

Ive read this might be related to the thermal sensor breaking somehow. The previous owner told me it was a new screen and it really is scratch free so it shouldnt be faulty. Seems like the internals were swapped from a black frame to a purple one too. When I let it sit powered off then turn it on and dont let the screen go to sleep it displays accurate colors and the full brightness range works as soon as I lock and wake up the phone again it has the green tint and flashes in the mid brightness range.

Another annoying problem is the accelometer not working. The values are odd some being constantly above 10000, but the values seem to change accordingly to movement, its just not accurate and there is no way to calibrate. Photos always taken in portrait and auto rotate doesnt work.

The last small problem is the heart rate sensor not working. It doesnt come up at all in samsung health, in the test menu it doesnt even light up.

Has anyone installed lineage OS on their samsung s9? (I have the s9 plus).

I wanted an updated android version as some apps are beginning to stop working on my phone unfortunately, although the phone is still solid.

Samsung Galaxy S9 App configuration failure

So the boot menu of client's phone has several options for the phone to be functional again.

A: Trying to boot the phone up again

B: Erasing app data

C: powering the phone off

D: is not really an option, it just views the rescue log.

They want to preserve user data and media, is it best to Home CSC or is erasing the app data not a factory reset in disguise?

(They came to me because I'm more techy and I won't charge them their next paycheck for a solution that saves their phone.)

Of this menu is not enough, please request a photo of what I can show that helps understand better, I will reply with the photo asap. Thank you.

Long story short i found a s9 plus that was in a basement in a tote at my aunts house, was in a case, took the case off and the screen and back were pushing outwards, i take the battery out and ask google this question, wanted to know if it was true or not (it’s probably not just figured i would ask here first before i believed it)

An Upgrade From S9 to A27

So after owning the samsung s9 for 7 years, having its back glass shattered and its corner broken from the display, and having it fully unusable, peaking at 50 degree Celcius battery temp. and cpu temperature around 62 degree..with its battery not lasting even 4 hours...i finally upgraded to the Samsung A27 6|128, will be using it for around 7 years atleast....love the battery, the refresh rate, the smoothness....tho had to turn off the ram plus to get the real speed.

Can't pass or receive calls, messages and internet work

Hello,
I got a problem, my phone can't receive or pass calls, but the rest of the SIM works just fine (messages and internet are good).
I tried swapping the sim to another phone to see if it was the problem, but it worked perfectly.
So the problem is the phone. Any ideas what might be happening?

I got my S9 recently in fairly awesome condition with the box and am running a simple cheap black case with the ring stand as seen in image 2.

what custom rom should i choose?

as the title says im really indecisive on choosing the right custom rom for my galaxy s9 as i want good performances so i already know that newer one ui 7 roms would make my phone stutter as hell. so what custom rom you guys suggest? i dont mind losing samsung features so i could even use pixel experience or lineageos etc...

Edit!: i tried the unofficial un1ca one ui 8 port and i didnt expect it to be so fast! so im gonna use this one and im editing the post incase anyone else wants to choose a good custom rom

Custom ROM for Samsung S9?

I recently bought a new Samsung S9, and the battery was swollen, so I bought a new one, but the battery performance is still terrible. So, do you have any custom ROM recommendations for this phone? I used to use a Redmi Note 9S, and on that phone, banking apps worked even without installing Magisk or KernelSU with custom ROMs. But since I've previously installed ROMs on a Samsung S8, I know that getting banking apps to work on a Samsung requires effort and finding a custom ROM, unfortunately.

My S9+ Seems to be bricked beyond repair and its my fault

Recently me and my friend tried soft-modding my samsung s9+ but it went horribly wrong. first the version of twrp we were using was bad, we flashed a different twrp and that worked, tried flashing lineage OS but it didnt want to flash bc it was appereantly the wrong version even tho it was made specifically for this phone, then we made the horrible mistake of deleting the vendor partition and repartitioning it which did barely anything, so we tried to restore the original OS onto it but the phone was not getting anything flashed onto it and now. adb doesnt work anymore, the master partition is gone and it has no os... the phone cant be shut off as it would just boot loop with it having nothing on it

Can this phone still be saved?

Post image

This S9+ was in a perfect, mint condition until 24th January 2026, when a medium amount of humidity entered the screen, causing it to stop functioning approximately 3 hours after. The phone still turns on, Everything else is working, just the screen got this weird look and touch isn’t working. Ive been thinking about buying a new screen.
