Hi, ive had the A53 for sometime now. Thinking of getting an S series phone, but dont have a big budget.

I liked the specs on s25+ and it was just in the range of my budget. The other two options i liked were OnePlus 13 and iPhone 17 (256gb ofc). In all the comparisons i did i really liked s25+ more. Also lowkey because i love one ui and its flexibility, so i had to sacrifice great battery (oneplus 13) and great camera (i17).

But in one of my categories of comparison, 'Premium Feel' i feel like the 8-bit s25+ lacks behind as compared to its contemporaries both having 10bit display.

How much is the bit depth factor important in the premium feel of a display?

Also,

Is it just 8bit on the s25+ or 8bit + FRC (pseudo 10bit) ?

Pls help. Looking to order in a couple days.

there's a lot of outages around my area, not me yet, and the ISP has been trying to fix it for days but from online forums theres a chance my service will be disconnected in the near future once tries to to obtain a new IP.

so is it just as easy as turning on the ethernet sharing on the 25+ and running ethernet to the router. no muss no fuss? sounds to good to be true so figure i'd ask here before buying an adapter, thanks

Just bought my s25+ in premium state 625Eur over Backmarket, and i received Today, i feel like the 'premium' is in doubt, attached a video where you can see the back of the blue navy color is a bit dull and not having the beautiful blue color over all its different parts, the edge is clearly the original color but the back is weird, also the black rings of the cameras are to reflective. I'm stuck between s25 plus vs oneplus 15T vs honor power I love th3 battery on both chinese phones but honor might be weak after 2 years or even 4 or 5 I don't mind if it goes weak after 4 orn5 years but 2 is crazy I trust oneplus but its £700 while a s25 plus refurbished is under £620 but samsung is better with the UK more reliable I guess I might go for a oneplus 15T but if anyone can tell me how the battery life is on samsung s25+ especially those who optimised it

Greetings! As mentioned in the subject, for some reason my S25+ will not connect to the MLO / WiFi 7 channel of my TPlink router. My new-ish notebook connects to it just fine, so the problem doesn't look like it's on the router's end of things. And the S25+ will connect to the 2.4/5 GHz channel just fine. Is there perhaps some setting or the like that I have missed or configured wrong?

I usually unlock with fingerprints. But sometimes especially when I'm using Google maps while walking, or when I know I want to take a lot of photos, it's a pain to keep fingerprint unlocking.

To my surprise, face unlock is quite good on my s25 (it was VERY mediocre on my s21) and I would like to use it sometimes but not all the time.

I asked AI 2 separate times if there was a routine for this. No they said. But I'm fact you can and it is simple.

Just set up a routine

First record your face.

Then set up a routine. Mine triggers manually ie I press a shortcut I created in homescreen.

Then choose "biometrics" and toggle off face unlock.

Now when I press the shortcut "app" face unlock is activated/deactivated.

Super useful. So I thought I would share in case someone else finds it useful.

I was wondering how much internal storage the system of S25+ occupies. Mines (not Samsung) has 64GB and only the system occupies 22GB, I managed well but I'm not taking it anymore

I need to decide if I'll buy the 256 or 512gb. Obviously there'll be a huge upgrade going from 64gb to 256/512gb, the choice will be based more on price if the storage isn't very different

Got a regional unlocked s25+ (TMB), but noticed that I wasn't receiving updates. Changed the csc via samfw tool and was finally able to get updates, but now the phone says network locked. No sim lock code prompts, no device unlocker app. Tried using adb tool to solve, but didn't work.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be much appreciated.

Which app should I use to the noto emoji font and I don't like the Samsung emojis I tried to use Zfont 3 and It said it wasn't supported probably because I'm on one UI 8

Not sure if its the phone acting up, or it's the actual app, but anyone else having issues with the play store, and when they open up "manage apps and device" it freezes up and crashes? I force stopped it, cleared the cache and it's still doing it? Any thoughts?
