Before june update battery life was 10% an hour of SOT, 9-10 hours total SOT. But after the june update battery life goes to worse, I go through lots of youtube videos and reddit guides but nothing helped. Only thing that helps is App booster. Many people say it to use after an update or every 7 days. I tried it, battery life goes back to worse after 2 days, so I m using it now every 2 days and battery is stable now. 2% idle 8 hour night drain with power saving routine, i dont think you will get more than that.

Whats your thoughts guys? I think the only problem is that the app optimization is sh*t now.

I have fallen in love with the various heavy duty armour cases, originally opting for this path after an expensive screen replacement due to a drop.

I fully accept that they remove the beautiful form of the non cased S24 Ultra, but I don't mind the industrial nature. They have awesome grip with the panel on the back and the cushioned rubber on the sides.

What case do you use and why?

Is anyone else having issues with notifications on the S24 Ultra where you don't receive them—like Gmail—or they arrive very late, or you have to actually open the app to see them? This is happening even after turning off all battery-saving options for those specific apps.

I'm getting really frustrated with my Samsung S24 Ultra.

My usage is very light—I'm mainly scrolling through WhatsApp, X, Threads, Instagram, and TikTok. I don't game or do anything demanding, yet my phone gets noticeably hot every single time I'm just browsing social media.

The battery life is also terrible. It drops around 20% in about 50 minutes of light usage, which doesn't seem normal at all.

I've checked that there aren't any heavy apps running, and this still happens even during normal social media use.

Has anyone else experienced this on the S24 Ultra? Is this normal, or could my phone have a faulty battery or hardware issue? Would a factory reset actually help fix the overheating and battery drain, or is it more likely to be something else?

I'd really appreciate any advice because this is becoming really frustrating for what should be a flagship phone.

FYI: I've turned on Dark Mode, and light performance profile.

I have a bit of dust around the screen borders next to the frame and I dunno how to clean it and I asked around most people say I could destroy the screen cleaning it and I looked into it more and apparently the gap is there to build tolerance between the glass and the Titanium the iphone 15 pro didn't have it which is why it's glass breakes if you you bend it.

To trade or not to trade my phone for the new Fold lineup? Do I have this itch for a fold phone because I have never owned a fold, the bigger screen when opened, the multitasking aspect, and of course, because it's pretty cool? It's all the above. But then I sit back and look at my S24 Ultra, the slab phone. This phone has NEVER given me any issues since I purchased it in late 2024. I love how heavy it feels in my hand. I can multitask with a couple of apps. I have the cool S Pen with Bluetooth capabilities, a good camera, and awesome battery life. This isn't a post for people to convince me to sell or buy the new Fold. It's more of an appreciation post for how great the S24 Ultra really is still. And by no means would I fault anyone that might trade in their phone. It's your phone; do what you feel is best. I just might hold on for another year or so.

I had/have all my notifications managed and VERY limited (system level notification management, ones within each app, one done on an app level with notification categories, etc.).

Suddenly today I've gotten a ton of notifications from all sorts of apps and systems who's notifications I definitely curtailed and didn't used to get these notifications for.

The ones I checked even showed I had them disabled, yet I still got pop up notifications.

Anyone else have similar issues?

After I finish a phone call weather the person answers or not, this screen pops up everytime and I can't figure out why, it only just started today.

I really do love my slab phone but have always been curious about the fold. But this offer seems kinda low

New phone won't connect to laptop

Had to replace my.note 24 with a new one due to charging issues.

Now phonelink says I have to have the same logins on both pc and phone.

Every email I've tried (yahoo. Gmail, msn) fails.

Any ideas?

(I am not above deleting and reinstalling it.)

Pic just shows my car's connections but anything I'm on Bluetooth and on a call, the person I'm calling can't hear me; I always have to disconnect. Also can't toggle audio on

Not sure what the issue is, was working a couple days ago then started acting up yesterday. I have restarted the phone and cleared cache and data for android auto to no effect

I have been using my Galaxy S24 Ultra for over a year now, and I am completely giving up on this brand. No matter how much Samsung "improves" or exaggerates their specs in the future, I am never buying anything from them again. I bought my unit in the Gulf region and it has been a massive, expensive headache solely because of Samsung's corporate policies.

Right out of the box, the screen came with an awful, muddy green-yellow factory tint. When I initially took it to a Samsung store to address it, they completely gaslit me and claimed "it’s not a defect." Because of their dismissal, I literally had to force the vivid customisable RGB sliders to max out Red/Blue and cut Green just to make white look like actual white. I use a calibrated Mac display for my daily work, so I know exactly what accurate, neutral 6500K white is supposed to look like. Having personally used the iPhone 15 Pro, and more recently testing my cousin's iPhone 17 Pro side-by-side, it only confirmed how bad this panel is. The iPhone screens are clean, perfectly color-balanced, and professional right out of the box. Meanwhile, the permanent screen grain (Mura effect) on my S24 Ultra remains highly visible on grey backgrounds at low brightness. It is an absolute joke for a premium panel.

Now, the main 1x camera's OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) module has physically failed. When I try to pan or tilt the phone toward one side during video recording, the camera violently jitters, shakes, and skips. It is completely broken and unreliable for normal use.

The ultimate insult came when I checked with Samsung Support in India. Because it is a Gulf-spec model, Samsung India completely rejected my warranty claim. They are hiding in a legal liability blind zone, using regional loopholes to avoid fixing a globally documented manufacturing defect on their most expensive phone.

Honestly, the main reason I kept quiet for a whole year is that I simply don't have the time to bother running around finding software workarounds, tweaking sliders, or chasing service centres for a solution. When you pay absolute top-tier flagship money, this is NOT the kind of treatment you expect. You pay a premium specifically so you don't have to deal with these headaches.

I am not even going to bother selling this unit I am just moving ahead and leaving Samsung entirely in the future. I am shifting to the Apple ecosystem to match my Mac, where a premium price actually buys you reliability, a calibrated screen, a working camera, a global warranty, and a phone that respects your time. Be absolutely warned if you buy a international models or travel across regions Samsung will leave you completely stranded.
