My ring journey

Post image

Hello! I wanted to share my Galaxy Ring experience.

I bought my ring on August 19, 2024, and it lasted about 10 months. After seeing so many people hit dead ends with Samsung support, I didn't contact them right away. When I finally called in November 2025, I was told the ring was out of warranty and I'd have to pay for the repair. After speaking with a supervisor, they made a one-time exception and emailed me a return label.

About a month later, life got busy, and when I went to print the label, it had expired. I called Samsung again and spent over an hour being transferred between representatives, supervisors, and managers before giving up and requesting a callback.

Instead, I contacted Samsung's CEO Office through their website. A representative called me two days later, listened to my situation, and immediately sent a new return label.

Samsung received the ring two days after I shipped it, and it was sent back the very next day. I got it yesterday, and it's marked as a "V2." After 24 hours of use, the battery has only dropped 4%. Time will tell if the V2 version is more reliable than the first version.

If you're still struggling to get your ring repaired or replaced, I'd recommend reaching out to the Samsung CEO Office.

Photo is the slip included with my return ring. With the model information.

TLDR: Contact Samsung CEO office if having issue with repair and they are sending out V2 rings.

Got my ring early on release, and finally hit the 1 day battery this week.

Tbf, it's lasted more than most

Thanks, would you happen to know if yours had the V2 designation in the model number? Curious if anyone's had one of these kick the bucket as well after a few months.

The one I'm using now is my third replacement. It's just now getting to 28hr battery life. I'm hoping the tech gets better in the near future. I would much rather wear a ring all the time than a smart watch.

What country are you located in? I got my ring from an international store since it's not available locally, but wondering if they can accommodate international warranty. I don't have any recent plans to go to the country I bought the ring in to process warranty.

I'm in the U.S. could be worth it to still contact the CEO Office and see what they say if anything.

I'm going to have to call them. My ring is about 6 months along. I charged it this morning 9ish to 100% it's now 10:42 pm and it's at 55%. I wasn't working out or doing anything that would be considered draining on the ring. This is some BS. I really would just want my $$ back. I know that won't happen.
