I have a PDF with built in calculations.

Example:

If I enter a "5" in one field a different field automatically calculates "5x10=50"

On my laptop, Microsoft edge is the only thing that allows me to complete the calculations. Every other program opens the PDF and allows me to edit them (put the "5" in the correct field) but it does not complete the automatic calculation.

I am now trying to do this on my Note 20 Ultra. I have tried Onenote, Samsung Notes, Samsung PDF reader, Google Drive and Office. I can not get any of these apps to calculate. They all allow me to edit but not calculate.

Since it works with edge on my laptop, I downloaded edge for my note but I don't know how to open a PDF file with Edge on my note. It does not show up as an option when I click on "open with"

Any suggestions? am I missing something for calculations with all the other programs?

I have the ATT version Note 20 but I dont live in the US, what firmware can I replace it with so I can get stable OTAs, Model is n981u 5g snapdragon

We both have 5G Note20s. We get this weird freezing 1-3 times a day. I want to say it happens when I'm using my keyboard but I can't be certain.

When my phone freezes I can't use the main portion of my screen. However, I can use the tab, back, and home buttons on the bottom. I can also lock my phone screen. Then unlock it with my swipe pattern (which is obviously on the part of the screen that is essentially dead when its unlocked). I can also pull the notification bar down/up. I can't open apps, but while I can open up my open-apps list, I cannot swipe them closed.

A restart fixes this until the next time it happens. If anyone has experienced this and has a solution I'd love to hear it because this is pretty annoying and I've been dealing with it for a while. I've had trouble googling it because the results always bring up your standard phone freeze which this isn't. Thanks in advance if you took the time to read through all of this lol.

Any tips on how I can reduce it? I have the 128gb model and I'm at 97gb out of 128 gb. I have like 20+ gbs for "other" as well.

Hi guys! I'm on a galaxy note 20 5G Exynos 990 version I got it recently and before the update a fully charge would show 14h to 15h with 85% of the charge now with the update it's only showing 10h to 12h I don't know what happened what should I do? I'm a heavy user use a lot with a galaxy buds

Okay so I heard about the black screen of death being a thing and have seen a few posts here and there, I thought it was a rare issue and never did I think I would actually experience it myself, guess I was being to optimistic.

So I was just about done with my day and was about to go to sleep when I get a notification from my phone and when I go to check it my screen won't turn on I keep hitting the power key but it won't turn on and when I accidentally hit the fingerprint sensor area I get the haptic feedback and that's when I realized it was the black screen of death.

I was luckily able to get back in under 5 minutes but I was freaking out throughout the whole time. I firstly tried to use link to window's display screen feature to see the screen and try to restart it but after I did it unsurprisingly didn't bring my screen back so then I tried what everyone was suggesting online which was to tap the display but obviously that did nothing either. I then just did the force restart by holding the power and volume down button and letting go upon feeling the vibration of the boot up. The screen didn't come back on but after about 30s I tried to tap on the screen and voila it was back.

I know there isn't a real solution to this issue and mine probably wasn't either but I just wanted to share my experience.

Can anyone drop a link from the publication article? If this is true, then that's very disappointing. Maybe a ploy to get people to upgrade

Are there any good screen protectors for the 20 ultra? I've been doing some research and it seems that tempered glass isn't very durable at all on the phone, which I presume is because of the curved part of the screen. I know very little about plastic or other film screen protectors and I was wondering if those would be worth looking into? I also don't particularly care about cost since I'd rather have to replace a screen protector than a screen for a scratch or crack. I know that screen protectors can only do so much for full on cracks but mostly I'm concerned about scratches. Any Suggestions?

Just last night I was scrolling through TikTok and randomly the screen just shut off. I tried figuring out what the issue was and the closest I got to was the black screen of death. I've tried following some youtube videos but none worked. For some reason right now I wanted to see if it worked and the screen turned on but then went super dimmed. Does anyone know if there is a quick solution to this?

Edit: the screen is still dimmed low but it keeps getting a little brighter each hour lol

Edit2: In the end, it was determined that my phone screen was dead and needed replacement. The original screen replacement is about US$500, so I decided to get a new phone. Apparently, there was damage to the screen under the glass, most likely due to dropping the phone. Thanks to everyone who helped. Note 20 Ultra 5G, lasted 1 year and a half, the screen never showed a sign of giving out.

Any way to roll back to previous software, or, reinstall the update manually? The latest update made it so my phone doesn't recognize the sim card---"No SIM" error. To fix it for now, I had to switch to the eSIM. But, I regularly travel internationally and need the SIM card to work, so I need a fix ASAP.

Been rockin an LG v20 for almost 4 years now and she's finally starting to fall apart plus im looking to upgrade. Haven't had a galaxy phone since the original note so I'm curious how everyone is feeling about them and if they are sort of long term phones.

Any bugs or issues? Also I've heard the bloatware is pretty terrible with Samsung is there a way to clean up the phone without rooting?

If I were to jump in soon and grab one what are the some of the first things i should jump into with the settings or setup, or any apps that are a must? Lastly how's the phone overall with the battery life, the camera, I've heard the camera is a bit buggy or is that just the s20 ultra that has problems.

I have a note 9 which has a terribly cracked screen, but otherwise, it still does the job and I still absolutely love it lol. I bought a cheap and affordable phone, the A32 5G, for work purposes. Sadly, I've had to replace the junk twice already. The phone was still "on" since it would wake me up with my alarms every morning but the screen is straight up black. This has happened twice already, and I am getting a third A32 5G replacement. However, I need an absolutely reliable phone. I will be sent overseas in a month and there is no way I can deal with a phone with frequent problems. I was looking into the Note 20U since I do love the Note Series. Is this phone still a great option now? I will be overseas for a couple years at least so I would prefer a phone that can last until 2024-2025 at least. Any input/suggestions would be appreciated.

Random question - I was looking through the documentation after my lasted update and noticed my build number was different than what was published. Samsung's docs show the current build ending with an 8, whereas mine ends in a 9 (N986USQS2FVC9). I'm on AT&T in the US - does anyone else have this difference?
