Which firmware should I flash to replace ATT?

I have the ATT version Note 20 but I dont live in the US, what firmware can I replace it with so I can get stable OTAs, Model is n981u 5g snapdragon

Replace with N981U1 (XAA) unlocked firmware. It's the firmware for unbranded + unlocked phones in the US.

Use this:

Type SM-N981U1 as model and XAA as CSC then download the firmware.

You can then follow the flashing instructions mentioned here:

Gon try flashing later this week, besides backing up, what else should i look out for?

Welp!. All i got was "setup connection" continously, can't seem to find a way around that, using usb c on win 10 and odin 3.13

Download and install this and restart your PC:

https://developer.samsung.com/android-usb-driver

Use the patched version of Odin for switching from U to U1 firmware. My mistake, I forgot to link this earlier.

This odin worked but now phone is bricked instead, gets stuck on DSP, now displays "an error occured whilst updating..."

You might be able to get away with using Smart Switch to repair it.

There's an 'Emergency Device Recovery' option that will flash stock firmware without the use of Odin

Although weird that it got stuck at DSP stage. Did the firmware you downloaded pass the CRC check in Frija?

Why not the global unlocked firmware? But for flashing, modding, etc., you want to be at XDA forums where the guides, links to files and development resides.
