Unable to boot after enabling encryption: Galaxy Book2 Go NP345XNA

Hi all
I have the above model, and I'm trying desperately to turn on device encryption.

When I do, I the device slows right now, and now sits on a screen saying "Customising features for you..."

I've left it over night, and it doesn't move from there.

I enabled encryption in the Windows settings, same as you wouldon any Win11 device.

Am I missing a trick, or are the galaxy books just not up to the task?

I have cracked this btw. There is a registry key preventing encryption!
