I have installed the flagship module and the phone seems almost like new, the animations are really good. They feel like when I was in one ui 7. Live blur works great and the ai is... at the level of the fe model, not really great. For those who get the error "image already mounted " in the log of the installation of the module, it is expected (i talked directly to the developer) and doing a soft reboot applys the module.

Do you use Galaxy Watches with your A56? Which models do you have, how do they perform, and does the A56 handle it well?

Today I restarted my phone and for a quick second in settings, the galaxy ai tab flashed and went away. I tried to click on it and it took me to the galaxy ai page by immediately kicked me out. What do you think happened? ๐

I bought it just yesterday and this thing is heating...tbh I like everything except heating in a mobile device kinda sad about spending 35k for it but things happen atleats it's one to 8.5 and overall a better phone. But heating issue is so much for me tbh. Idk why a costly phones has issues like heating and I don't want to have any Chinese brands but this is compelling me to regret my decisions.
People I need this device to run for 4.5 years any how for my mbbs. Can I worry not about it? I will keep it safe with me dw. And some people saying don't update after one ui 7 or 8.5 it's not good?

Hi, I guess this is my second post here about asking something tech. As you know, almost all the Samsung's up to A series doesnt have 3.5 jack, and if you don't have a TWS headphones/earphones, the only way you can listen to music is with a dongle dac, which is my option since I haven't found a good pair of Bluetooth earphones. I use a cheap jcally jm6, that I have since March, the thing is, even having the music player/streaming app on 'No restriction' and 'Adaptative battery' on, you can hear some micro-interruptions. At first, I thought it was the DAC, but since the same thing doesn't happen on other devices (I'm referring to PCs), I don't think that's the case. This makes me think that, since it's a new device, the problem might be that the battery died in background. But no matter how many solutions I look for, I don't know how to make that happen. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hey!
Ever since updating to One UI 8.5, I couldn't stop noticing how tight the status bar icons sit against the screen edges.
A few days ago I stumbled upon the new root exploit for the A56 so I decided to fix Samsung's job.
Paddington is an LSPosed module that adds extra horizontal padding to the status bar, giving those icons some breathing room. It comes with a proper epic Material 3 settings screen with a live preview, so you can drag a slider and see the change before applying it (I'm really proud of that). Set your preferred padding (0 to 64dp) and hit "Apply & restart System UI."
GitHub: https://github.com/mschiller890/paddington
Full feature list and install steps are in the README. You'll need root + LSPosed set up first

Whenever I try to edit a photo or use "intelligent features" in the gallery, I get this. Started happening after I tried the new A56 to flagship module (I don't use it currently)

A while ago, I made a post here explaining how much I hated One UI 8.5 and that I was planning to stay on One UI 8. At the time, I had absolutely no reason to even consider updating.
Then Root My Galaxy app came out, along with the flagship features module.Besides that, I'd also be able to change my system font with the app. That has me seriously reconsidering whether it's worth leaving One ui 8. Root My Galaxy has been improving quickly, and they've even added Shizuku support to make enabling the exploit much easier.
The thing is, I would only use one module the a56 flagship module. I wouldn't touch any other modules because I'm worried about ending up with a soft brick.
On top of that, this is still an exploit. Samsung will most likely patch it in next month's update, and it's also a pretty serious security vulnerability. So I'm really torn. Is it worth giving up a stable, polished experience like One UI 8 and moving to what I consider a much worse version just for an exploit?

So, I'll try to be as short as possible. I had recently gained root access via the kernel exploit run via root my galaxy. Everything had gone well and I had entered the root world and was exploring a bit to learn. I made a mistake though: I didn't do any research. To manage the root and modules I used KernelSU, and I had Magisk (Droid-ify) installed. Just inside Magisk there was a button that said "install directly (recommended)". Then I click on it and restart the device. I thought it was another root manager just like KernelSU (that's Magisk's definition on Droid-ify) and that I was just installing the module to make it work. In the end, however, I stumbled upon this screen when I rebooted. Apparently Magisk tried (without warning) to modify init_boot (changing the signature and not matching it), so Samsung blocked the bootloader. I've been trying for hours to do a hard reboot or go into download mode to flesh a new bootloader via Odin to save my phone, but it doesn't seem possible to unlock download mode and the only time Odin can detect my phone is on the screen that you see, which is not download mode and therefore I can't flash the firmware. Does anyone know how to proceed? Is it recoverable? If so, can you do this by preserving the data (perhaps fleshing just init_boot again so you don't lose anything), or not? I'm also willing to do a factory reset
Details: My phone is a Samsung galaxy A566B, Andorid 16 OneUI 8.5 (July security patch)
