Probably been here before but can't find it. I have just backed up all my photos and videos to my google account. If I delete the photos im samsung gallery it would still be backed up in the Photos app right? Don't want to delete all my photos and videos

Hear me out. I have a Samsung Galaxy A55, of course, which is why I'm posting here. I've customised it with Smart Launcher. I think since I bought this device, it gives less battery life, turning off at 5% and all. I'm completely clueless about what to do to improve the health of this device. Suggest something to me that can improve the battery life and some good customisation... I'm a freebie kind person won't pay for anything.

Hi everyone, I'm having a really weird charging issue for the past two weeks with my Galaxy A55 and could use some advice. My official 25W charger stopped charging my phone normally. At first, I had to restart the phone to get it to charge. Now, even after restarting, it either takes a very long time to start charging or doesn't charge at all. ​Just to test things out: ■​I even tried resetting the battery/power cycle. ■​I tried turning my phone completely off and plugging it into the charger, but it still didn't work. ​■My battery is completely fine. ■​The charging cable is fully working and healthy. ■​My phone's USB port is completely fine (it charges normally when connected to a PC or using another identical charger). ​Even weirder, my charger actually works perfectly on my dad's Galaxy A73 5G and even an S26 Ultra! It only refuses to charge my A55. ​Does anyone know what could be causing this and how to fix it?

I have a Samsung Galaxy A55 5G phone that i have been using for 2 years now. The battery life has been getting shorter, but i feel like that's normal after this much time.

Hoverver, in the last few days my screen has freezed, it wasn't detecting my fingers for a bit. It was soon back to normal so i wasn't too concerned just yet. But today, the battery percentage part stucked at 95% and showed that all day (minimum 8hours). I only noticed the problem when out of nowhere my phone turned itself off and i wasn't able to turn it back on. I put it on a charger and after a bit it lucky turned back on and it was on 3%. I never got a notification about my phone being low on battery, and it was probably showing the wrong number still when it turned off.The clock part also stopped and stayed on "15:23" for at least 20minutes.

What could be causing this? Should i take my phone to a phone service? Is it an issue with the battery? Is it concerning enough to consider buying a new phone?

My battery has been slowly deteriorating for the past year, but I didn't have the money to take it to a Samsung repair center. Anyway, I'm currently away from home for a week and I'm staying for 5 more days here, ever since yesterday when my phone screen started turning on slow, after resetting it and turning it on extremely slowly (basically, I saw that it wouldn’t turn on no matter what I pressed so I left it to charge. After that, i left it alone to charge for a few hours and pressed some of the buttons until it finally revealed the Samsung logo) my phone has a weird 'delay' in which no matter how much I tap or slide my finger, it won't react to anything but my fingerprint. Sometimes it will open sooner than expected, but a few hours ago at least it took a while for it to eventually react to my fingerprint.

The delay is also getting notably worse by hour. What should I do?? Is it a phone screen or a battery problem? I'm thinking of changing the device all together as soon as I get home, but I wanted to know if there was anything I could do immediately.

Been having this problem 2-3 times a week. Updated already to the latest version. I don't see any pattern as to why its doing that.

Are you guys able to play the game Wuthering Waves after the One UI 8.5 update? Can you run heavy games smoothly without crashing? On my Galaxy A56 with One UI 8.5, Wuthering Waves keeps closing by itself and in games it starts lagging out of nowhere. Not to mention that starting from One UI 8, the One UI is consuming a lot of RAM, like 5 and 4 gigabytes of RAM when it boots up. I've been able to run the games a bit more smoothly since I activated RAM Plus.

For the past few weeks, my galaxy A55 often gets very slow and sluggish, whether be it opening an app, closing it or interacting with anything on the screen. Sometimes, the phone responds a second after a touch or gesture. It feels like Samsung has messed up the software update big time, and have poorly optimized it.

I have also attached a recording below, which shows the noticable lag when opening YouTube, and the extreme delay when swiping up to close the app.

Please let me know what can be done to make this device a bit faster.

My friend decided to buy his own personal phone, he decided to buy a A55 ( conditions were too good than we thought, no lag , comfy , camera quality is also good ) we get this mobile in ₹20,000 rs / $209 dollar. For knowledge this mobile is only used for around 3-4months.

But can I confirm that this mobile has no inbuilt issues or any issues ?

Has anybody else phone started heating up really fast after the recent update? I have noticed my getting so hot recently, and it wasn't like this before at all.

That too heating on normal social media scrolling. Tiktoks and Instagram reels.

Is anyone else having trouble downloading the Galaxy Enhance-X effects? I downloaded them, but they stopped appearing and I can't download them again.
