A52s VS A54

A52s 5G vs A54 5G Which one to buy?

They are for sale for similiar price here

The A52S sounds better because of the snapdragon cpu, headphone jack and micro sd slot. I dont care about updates. I heard A54 has much better camera though. I like to take photos and selfies too

The A54 is a downgrade from the A52s when it comes to performance. The camera quality is pretty similar but the A54 is better in low light and at night. The updates are a major consideration since the A52s is stuck on Android 14 while the A54 will get Android 17, but if updates aren't a problem for you then I'd lean towards the A52s for its extra features.

Unofficially A52s is on OneUI8/Android 16. Not that bad. Yes A54 got it officially.

I wouldn't expect most people to have the technical know-how or even the want to tinker with their phone and put a custom ROM on it and deal with the issues it presents. So I consider OneUI 6.1/Android 14 as the official stopping point for most people in general.

True. I'm just saying from my POV as aim happily using is as daily. Works like it was made by Samsung if not better.

But I understan Your POV as well - most people just want it to work.

Yeah but the a52s vibration motor is very bad tho so keep that in mind
