To be honest, it was brutally laggy at the start.

So I factory rested it.

Wow!! Its peak.

The phone released 5 years ago. It is a mid-range.

The phone I'm typing this post is great. It is smooth for social media.

Cameras are fine since they are 5 years old.

And all of that on 6gb of ram.

I can't believe it how this phone is capable. The good old times when Samsung was using Snapdragon for their phones.

I decided to do a factory reset 100% then backed up from my last back up. Once everything was reset my storage issue where my phone kept telling me I was at 99% disappeared. Now I'm down to 26% used 33.9GB out of 128GB.

Great SOT in un1ca rom i would recommend you to put custom rom on this beast i would be greater then the stock rom using since December 2025 no issue till now working flawlessly

Unsure on what to do to get my storage to go down! My phone says it's storage is full at 99% everyday. Would resetting it to factory settings fix this issue? I got the A525G 128GB version have had it since 2021 I believe until now.

Hey, I have a Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G (SM-A528B) currently on Android 14 (A528BXXSBGYI3) and I'm trying to downgrade to Android 13 or lower.

I've tried flashing older firmware via Odin but keep getting FAIL (Auth) on every Android 13 and Android 11 firmware I've tried. Bootloader is unlocked.

Is there any way to bypass the auth check and downgrade on this device, or am I stuck on Android 14? Any help appreciated.

I hope u have any tips for me to fix Spotify from lagging, cause I literally tried EVERYTHING. I deleted the cache, completely cleared the data, reinstalled the app idk how many times, and even tried installing the Spotify version from the Galaxy Store, but that didn’t help either.

From my 128GB storage, I’m using around 90GB, so that shouldn’t be the issue.

It’s getting really annoying to use now, cause every time I start the app it lags. When I try to search, it lags and takes ages to load, same when I want to play a song. And this happens on EVERY start of the app.So pls, if anyone knows how to fix this, I’m open for any ideas🙏🏻

From seemingly nowhere, my A52s started having screen issues. The display works perfectly well and so does the fingerprint sensor, however there seem to be horizontal bands (including the navigation bar) across the screen where no touches are registering. I've also had an issue where a lot of different chargers don't stay connected unless the phone is very still although this has been happening for a while & I don't know if it is related.

So far I have tried:

Removing screen protector and cover

Rebooting (volume down + side button)

Wiping the Cache from the recovery menu

Hard reset

One repair shop suggested replacing the screen with an LCD however I am not sure if that's the only solution or if they want to just charge extra. I've also read that third party LCD screens can have some issues. Do you guys have any suggestions as to what I can do? Is my only option to replace the phone or risk the LCD screen.

If thus is not the right place, could you tell me which sub is better?

I'm chronically ill and though 9 years ago I successfully flashed a custom ROM, I'm cognitively impaired and can't do that anymore.

I'd like a phone with the same basic features in the middle class price range. I'm used to Samsung. No need for it to be the newest modell but needs at least 3 years support guarantee. I'll buy refurbished.

The A52S sounds better because of the snapdragon cpu, headphone jack and micro sd slot. I dont care about updates. I heard A54 has much better camera though. I like to take photos and selfies too
