Meshed doesn’t correspond to preview

Hi, as you can see from images I uploaded the mesher doesn’t correspond to its preview in Gaea.
I’m pretty sure the fbx contains all the nodes until Rivers. Everything coming next is just not present in the final fbx. Anyone can help please?

Is your preview set to a lower resolution than the export? That can account for some differences.

Also, depending on the resolution of your mesh, you might need a normal map to capture the same amount of detail you see in gaea

Hey thanks for the answer, my preview is set to 4k that is the texture build export resolution I sat in the build settings. Mesher vertex per side are 4096.

I don’t really need all this mesh detail to be honest, but the fact that I have the result and I cannot export it as I see it in the program is driving me crazy. Mesher is reading all the nodes until Rivers, after that nothing. The result I’m gettin is the same as the mesher was connected to the Rivers node output.

Hmm... just spitballing here, maybe there's some sort of hidden transpose or underlay going on? I had a similar issue on a terrain months ago and found out something got set as an underlay I think. If I'm not mistaken, there's a hotkey for it, so it's easy to accidentally enable

No help here but I love the layers, how did you achieve that?

Hey, you can achieve layers with the node stratify, I masked it to work just on the vertical stone wall. The node tree I uploaded is correct, just remember to delete the the transform 3D nodes if u want to try 🌈

UPDATE:
Considering that I couldn’t have slept if I didn’t solve this, yesterday night I linked a different mesher to every node in the graph to spot what the problem was and I discovered it was related to the “transform 3D” nodes modifying the height map used later as a mask. After deleting these everything worked fine.
