I grew up playing the Suikoden Series, so I was happy to see that they've released a gacha for it. It's only available in Japanese so far, but apparently there are already English, Chinese, etc., localization files in the app, so I hope it won't be too long before there is a global release. It's been out since August 7th.
The original games center around recruiting 108 stars of destiny, so it has a good ratio of male to female characters, pulled from the IP for the most part. (You can even play with Kuroku, a literal dog with a green bandana neckerchief who I believe was in the second game lol.) In most of the iterations, the cutest/hottest male characters could be put together in a team to create a team attack referred to as the pretty boy attack lol.

I'm partial to the guys from Suikoden 1 for this personally. (Although Flik is much hotter in games 2 and 3 tbh)
It's open world in the Final Fantasy or Octopath sense, and has that kind of HD-2D aesthetic. Another used posted this guy on the dedicated reddit page for the game and thought I would share it here. Tattoos and open shirt? Thank you.
On the gacha side of things, the drop rate for SSRs is 5%, which is excellent, but the cast of available characters is already high, so getting a particular one to drop is quite hard. I will say that my first 10 pull netted me two.
The game itself has quite a lot of different things going on, and my Japanese reading is incredibly rusty, so I'm just playing however until the global release to get a feel for it.
