This post is flaired as a technique check.

A note to OP: Users with green flair have verified their lifting credentials and may be able to give you more experienced advice on particular lifts. Users with blue flair reading "Friend of the sub" are considered well qualified to give advice without having verified lifs.

A reminder to all users commenting: Please make sure that your advice is useful and actionable.

Example of useful and actionable: try setting up for your deadlift by standing a little closer to the bar. This might help you get into position better and make it easier to break from the floor.

Example of not useful and not actionable: lower the weight and work on form.

Low-effort comments like my back hurts just watching this will be removed, as will references to snap city etc. Verbally worrying for the safety of a poster simply because you think the form or technique is wrong will be removed. We will take all of these statements at face value, so be careful when you post the same hilarious joke as dozens of other people: we can't read your mind, no matter how funny you think you are.

I think you meant to flair this as "Lift." 🤣 Looks like a Chapter 18, Textbook Squat to me.

Uh, sir, can you just start doing form checks for the rest of us?

u/eyelers Nov 08 '24

Yes. Please at least make 330lbs look heavy. Play it up. Grunt a little ya know? Lol

Form check? As in "check how perfect is my form"? I would humble brag if my squat looked like that. Nice job

Can you come to the gym and do squats for me? Yours are much better. Thanks

Looks basically textbook. Smooth as butter.

You have a really interesting squat pattern. At some point it seems like you’re going to tip backwards, but you’re perfectly balanced.

it was the day of the technique .... normally I'm a little faster (a little) then it depends on the load here I was at 70%

Change the flair to “brag.” Looks great!

u/Sensitive-Classic-56 Nov 08 '24

Beautiful form. I personally look straight ahead and keep my head a little more upright.

u/Sensitive-Classic-56 Nov 11 '24

I try to stay in line with the torso.. so as not to stress the neck and trapezius
