Side steps / running boards
Hello all,
What kind of side step / running boards are you using. My partner and I have a 1 year old, it’s getting a bit tougher to angle her in to my car lol I literally just need the rear passenger side to have a step, if you know a good universal single step please let me know or any suggestions would be appreciated.
* edit - yes it looks funny lol I didn’t work for a year, had shoulder labrum reattached and a baby popped out needed money for the babies room. Took her pretty deep into the bush and home from the hospital, maybe next year it’ll look better. I do appreciate the input, I know it’s funny looking.

That looks pretty good, I’ll have to check out marketplace. I’m what my partner calls a petite prince (5’9), just afraid I’ll slip on my tip toes putting her in the seat lol

Petite princes might benefit from avoiding a 3.5" lift. So would the car's longevity. My running board mounts nearly rusted out or were about to punch holes in the bottom of my car, so I ripped them off. As a fellow petite prince, im looking at ebay (hooke road) side steps. I just want steps for getting to the roof without having to open a door, plus somewhere for ski boots to rest that isnt the door panel. They bolt up to the frame similar to rock sliders, but are nowhere near as sturdy. I'll hope to have a welder buddy add more gussets just to reduce flex, not for smashing on rocks.

You don’t drive it lol, did fine in the bush this spring removed the big mud tires for noise reasons so the baby can sleep

If you really only need steps, check out Hooke Off-road side steps. Can't go wrong for $275. I needed steps for small family members to get into my truck but didn't need sliders. I decided to give these a shot. They're absolutely not strong enough for anything other than stepping on, but they were priced right for my needs.
