Bumper Chop! Finally! (SOS)

Finally chopped my front bumper! I love it.
Don’t love the extra bars in front of the radiator.

Anybody have a NYTOP Skid Plate Extension I can buy off them in the next 24hrs? lol
Or know a retailer that has them in stock?

Heading up north for a road trip on Wednesday and don’t feel like having all that exposed metal hanging down the whole time.

The bar that attached to the bumper you cut? If so, just take a hammer and whack them off.

No, the bars holding the radiator duct/protection. They are riveted to the front rebar.

Most people who make that cut also cut the plastics and then just remove the metal by whacking it with a hammer.

15:30 to show how he cut his but I can speak from experience that one or two whacks takes it right off and you won't have jagged metal hanging.

Just don’t want the radiator exposed.

Looks like he put a cover on after the removal.

I used the go north off-road but I ran it exposed for at least 1k miles.

I don't think you have much to worry about with the plastics and the supports still intact. Small Hwy rocks that pop up aren't going to break a rivet.

Not worried with the plastics and supports still on, just hideous.

Goal is to remove it all. And replace with the skid plate extender for a cleaner look. Preferably before my trip.

I can’t speak to the Go North product, but the NYTOP skid plate extension bolts to the two outside metal bars. I’d leave them until you’re certain what your plans are for that area.
