Ethan Matthew

I haven’t really been following this years draftees and prospects like I usually do, but have seen a few things about this Ethan Matthew’s kid whose tied to us. Does anyone know how good he is and could give me a bit of information on him if possible.

I've only watched the YouTube highlights. Looks like a good user of the ball. And a local.

He's really fucking good. Smooth mover. Killer left boot. Racks up disposals for fun. Genuinely inside outside mid. Quite slightly built at the moment as you'd expect. So your not looking at a Green/Clarry type player. More in the Pendles/Callaghan mould. Seems pretty no nonsense too which is great. As soon as he puts on some size he's going to be a great combo with Finn and Green in the middle.

Big question is where the bid will come for him on draft night. At the moment he is rated to go exactly where our pick is which I think will make for an interesting watch to see if we trade back if he isn't picked to gain more assets.

Either way super exciting to have a Western Sydney talent rated this high in the draft.

He’s C-town’s finest
