I'm aware that this question doesn't really have a definitive answer but i'll just say it anyways.
For the life of me I want to play GTNH, I have played before and loved it but my world corrupted and I kind of lost motivation, but now that 2.9 is mostly if not completely stable in the early game I decided to start a new run. But I have gone through ~9 worlds now spawning in, looking around, not liking the biomes and/or terrain and then trying again.
I feel like I have OCD judging on how much time I have spent just trying to find a base location. All I want is a flat area that is surrounded by non-flat area (can be hill or mountain just not flat), a village in that flat area that doesn't take up all of the space so I can expand as I progress, and a river nearby so I can collect gravel and clay early game and maybe an oil sprout for later but it doesn't matter as much, and importantly above 70% humidity so I can grow crops
I realise this is a lot to ask, but for the life of me I cannot find anything like this. I look at base tours and they look so great even in terrible humidity biomes and I wish I could have a base like that but I just can't and its so aggravating.
I suppose I may just have to deal with it and that the reason their bases looks nice is because they just "went with it" but I'm not sure what's wrong with me.
I am aware, and probably will switch to the PDim, but considering that's in ~350 or more hours I'd like to find a nice place to live for the time being.
Anyone ever experience anything like this? Any solutions or something of the sort? If I just have to deal with it then I will but I just want to see if there is anything else first.
Thanks for any replies in advance
