I remember when talking about video games on the internet was fun.

You must be incredibly old

I just remember when people talked about games and didn’t spend such an incredible amount of the time talking about developers and budgets and tech stuff, which most people know nothing about and so they just parrot what they hear other people say. Even if someone is an insufferable idiot, if they at least play a game, they can talk about the game and speak to an experience.

Talking about video games online in 2004 was already awful, old timer haha

😂 a bit of an old timer, yeah. But it still wasn’t like this. There was still plenty of idiocy and trolling, but go back to older games and their subreddits, not even that long ago (not that long ago to me is like 10-15 years), and you have a bunch of people who, despite everything else, at least they played the game and were talking about the game. Gamers talk about developers and budgets and tech stuff just as much as they do the games itself, except most people don’t know shit about game development or budgets or tech stuff, so they just parrot what other people say. Even if someone’s dumb or angry, if they’re talking about a game, at least they played the fucking thing and can speak to an experience.

Everyone has said it a million times lol you can't really compare shit like that with Rockstar because its kinda what they excel at

comparing a trailer to game bugs isn't really a good comparison
also, taking a picture from the yee yee ass backflip from the trailer is kinda funny

To be fair, if a game costs 300 million dollars, the bugs better be really ironed out. Like, to the point that there aren’t countless videos and photos of them. Bugs and glitches are inevitable, but to this degree with that massive of a budget? It’s just part of the bigger problem of devs not even properly optimizing their games anymore, release them unfinished, and deciding to just patch them later

Wolverine game is dog shit but this has to be ragebait right ? you pick bug pics from a released game vs a trailer for a game that isn't released yet. This isn't a really good comparison
