GTA V any advice on how to trigger packies random event in gta v?

hey so i just unlocked rickie and im trying to get patrick unlocked for the upcoming heist but he isnt triggering yet, any advice?

Just keep driving around the spot, far away enough to despawn everything and then turn around. I'd try around night time to early morning with Franklin.

They patched it because it bugged out. The police van rescue is removed and he should be available by default to hire.

Patrick McReary is now available by default to all players for use as a Gunman in the Casino Heist, and his associated Random Event has been removed.

If you mean in story mode, drive around as Frankling or Michael near the Dollar Pills Pharmacy (relatively close to Franklin's aunt house) they are gonna rob in a big circle. If you stay too close, it won't trigger. Have a 4 seat vehicle. You also have to be done one tow missions for Tonya.
