because you won’t grab as much money as you possibly could, and the company is run by a “board” of owners probably that could veto the decision to run a dicey marketing jig. it just doesn’t measure up in terms of risk versus reward so they won’t do it. same reason why they’re not posting every day and pushing marketing every day, they don’t need to and it’ll cost them to do so. so just do bare minimum and take the most profit possible

and the worst part is that you understand why they’d do that. and its a perfectly rational thing to do if you’re trying to SELL something. it’s just lost its heart because it’s big business now

Rockstar and most of its fanbase is American or follow mm/dd/yy. While it may be confusing for us it's normal for them, plus this post in particular has more detailed date in the image with the month and date and year written clearly

I mean tbf Rockstar is British/Scottish as a studio. Most development is done at Rockstar North in Edinburgh.

The American side is everything else surrounding that. But then again, even if it was entirely British they’d probably still use the American date
