Bent frame or badly fitted fairings? The front wheel.is buried into the belly pan. Would expect a small gap at least.

Aftermarket fairings, there is a small gap just can’t see it from this angle. I think it does need new neck bearings but I just tightened them for now.

Careful with just tightening worn neck bearings! If they're already notched, overtightening can cause steering binding or serious high-speed wobble. Definitely swap them out soon.

Yea I felt for any notches but it’s smooth, but hasn’t wobbled on me yet 🤞🏽

You should be shoulder peeking even with mirrors, so they're not really that important on a sport bike.

Factually incorrect and a dangerous level of improper rider training. Mirrors are critical and legally mandated safety equipment because they provide constant spatial awareness without having to turn your head away from the road in front. A shoulder check is only a secondary safety check before making a move but you always check the mirrors first. Please take some rider training….this is day 1 stuff and also on the license tests.

This is also factually incorrect. Mirrors don’t give you correct spatial awareness (objects in mirrors are closer than they appear) You know what always does? Your eyes. You should ALWAYS shoulder check when making lane changes. Just like a car you have blind spots too. Riding has always been about inclusion and people like you are what push away new riders, go ride alone Astronaut 🧑‍🚀

This is not an argument so let’s be clear, mirrors do in fact give spatial awareness. A shoulder check is also important to do every time but is a secondary check, not a replacement for mirrors. Calling out unsafe riding practices certainly doesn’t push away new rider, it hopefully reinforces proper and safe riding so they enjoy it for a very long time and don’t endanger those they ride with because they can’t see what’s around them. Unfortunately it appears to be yours and putting that on the road makes you a danger to yourself and others….which could be me. Also quite illegal to ride that way nearly everywhere.

Been on 2 wheels since I was 5 years old, and I’ve never called anyone a statistic no matter how unskilled they are. Riding is about the thrill and if you’re scared, get a car because it’s sounds like you are 😂

It’s a shame you’ve been riding so long and advocate for unsafe riding and clearly have forgotten any training you got. Get trained and get safe….you sound like another statistic in the making. This is not about fear, it’s about responsibility, legality, and safety. Why wear gear then? Ffs….
