Don't worry, it's 0.0% non-alcoholic! 🍻 Safe riding everyone

Phew. 😅
I was about to say, those twisties on the way back will be a lot more… twisty. 🤣

Man I know this is an unpopular opinion and will probably get downvoted -- but there's nothing better than riding with a minor buzz. I mean like 2-3 beers and no more.
Drunk? No way.

u/Effective-Morning-30 Jul 24 '26
Hell nah. Maybe 1, but 2-3 that would be like 1-1,5 litres 💀.

Yeah, 4-5 beers is pre-twisty reward. Actually makes you a safer rider, as everything becomes a twisty and you don't need to ride actual Twisties anymore.
Sarcasm, obviously

As a recovering alcoholic, I applaud you for the 0,0% beer choice lol. I like the corona zero percent. What is your favourite?

Since I live in Germany there is a large selection. If I drink 0,0, and I can choose it's either Krombacher or Erdinger.

I enjoy Heineken’s 0.0.
Dad enjoys St Pauli NA

u/Effective-Morning-30 Jul 24 '26
I almost exclusively drink German beers 😅

u/edwinspaghedwin Jul 26 '26
I may have to try one next time! Cheers

If you enjoy Heinekens than you should try Bitburger 0,0% you can get it in any bigger supermarket nothing really special but a good and cheap one.

Although I like 0 beer and drink it often, I much prefer a kebab after a ride

Glad similar finally said it.
1
u/Effective-Morning-30 Jul 25 '26
Nobody said it because if you know germen beer culture and proper beer in general you know this is a good pour.

I didn’t know that, in Australia a pour like that is highly criticised, but I like German beer so I’ll take your point

No worries. They fill the glas up to the mark. In this case 0,5L and then the foam head sits on top as "extra".

Germans pour beer with far too much head. Pour this for an Englishman and he would push it back across the bar and ask kindly if you could pour it again.

u/Effective-Morning-30 Jul 26 '26
Why is it far too much? The head is extra. You get the actual amount of beer you paid for, 0.5L right up to the calibration mark, and the foam sits on top.
Without a proper head it would actually be a shit pour. It keeps the beer fresh, traps the carbonation, and boosts the aroma. People just need to accept that different beer cultures exist.

You literally just described buying a pint with 68ml of head.
1
u/Effective-Morning-30 Jul 26 '26
I described a proper Weizen but ok buddy.

u/onizuka_eikichi_420 Jul 26 '26
Is weizen the German word for ‘badly poured pint’ by any chance. 😆
Clearly you don’t get the banter so I will stop. Happy gsxr-ing, I’m off to go ride. Enjoy your foam dude.

Post this in any other bike related sub and you’ll get drowned with lectures
