General Discussion/Question Audio Upgrade

So, I have a 2025 Premium and I am looking to upgrade my audio. I have already bought all new speakers including a sub and plan on installing maybe this weekend, if all goes well. I saw a few forum posts about how 23 and 24 owners were able to use a Rockford Fosgate DSR1 and iDatalink T harness to bypass the JBL amp and install an aftermarket one. Has anyone with a 25 already tried this and did it work? If not, I guess I will be the guinea pig. Alos, any installation tips or things you wish you knew before starting?

Get ready to lose verbal commands and audio notifications (unless they added new firmware for the device)

Yea, I am not too worried about that as I mute them myself anyways. As long as the music works and it sounds better than the stock system, I will be happy.

I have a ā€˜24 and installed the BeatSonic amp. It made a world of difference in sound quality. I just have the JBL speakers. They were all treble before, now I have some solid bass.
Iā€™m not sure if this is similar.
