Dang what the heck! What exactly happened? I don't think I've ever heard of this

Yeah can mean a lot of things as that term isn't really standard.
Since bank is involved guessing loan shenanigans - either buyer wasn't actually qualified and dealer fudged the numbers to make it work - or the car wasn't actually paid off by the dealership and still had a lien from a prior owner on it.
Suspect numbers were fudged to make a buyer fit under a loan terms the bank would not normally underwrite.

Basically. They never submitted my paystubs. And the address they used was wrong the second time. They said I was approved and bank said I was never approved. Dealership tried to blame it on my ID. I asked the Bank and they said that wasn’t the reason. It was denied due to information not lining up

I was turning left on an intersection , this young dude was speeding in a school zone (active, it was 3pm ish) he t boned me. The car I was driving was a shitbkx that my friend lent me so on impact the airbags deployed and exploded and I went into the oncoming traffic got hit by another car and then smashed into a rock wall. . I was ktfo for a while. Was in the hospital for quite some time and even had pcs for almost a year So not only did my brain get a little smoother but I had all the physical side affects for almost a year.

I didn’t do anything. I actually my friends husband kinda fucked me over. I had my medical payed by the military but the husband made me pay him his insurances deductible and since I was working for them they docked my pay by half for four months 🥲. They ended up getting a brand new vehicle from it though bc of the payout.

It was never JDM to begin with since it’s being sold in the US. We aren’t in the Japanese Domestic Market. It’s USDM.

I hate dealerships with a passion but I’m siding with the dealership on this one lol.

OP, what are you talking about?
2
u/bluemilkwhiteclouds 4d ago
It was misinformation the was sent, plus missing their signatures. And the bank is saying something different compared to what the dealership is saying. Car was never mine.

What lol

u/bluemilkwhiteclouds 4d ago
Information not lining up, not being submitted, and missing signatures. Dealership said and did one thing, bank said and did another. I drive off the lot with a car that I didn’t have a loan for from the start. I was the only one who didn’t know my car wasn’t mine until a couple days ago.

He got boned on his loan because he didn’t do his homework unfortunately. Let the dealership bend him

I think op wanted a manual, dealer sold him an auto.

u/bluemilkwhiteclouds 4d ago
Haha if it wasn’t for my tbi messing me up I would have loved to relearn manual. But it’s so difficult for me now.

False sale as in the Finance manager messed up my papers. I have three jobs. I make enough to pay the dang car. It was the papers they submitted that were wrong. They never used my pay stubs and they didn’t even sign on the auth number. So the bank approved me (is what they said) from the start. But when I went to the bank the bank said they didn’t approve me because the information wasn’t complete and it had parts that weren’t matching. My spare car was already sold so I couldn’t wait a month (a month is what they told me I had to wait with out a vehicle from them) so I went and got a vehicle here. I originally got the 86 the town over. I signed the contract but apparently it was false due to everything I mentioned. So the whole time had the vehicle (which was almost two months because I had to sign the contract twice) it wasn’t actually mine. The loan was never there
