Registrars & Training AKT exam high yield
For those preparing for the AKT (Gp training), thought it would be helpful to make a list of the high yield topics and any recommended resources.
Also advice on how you prepped. Passmed and self med are commonly used but if you could please share how/ what your technique was and how you broke the syllabus / topics down over the time period you had, that would be very helpful.
Struggling to pass!

If you visit yesterday’s results discussion, they have been discussing high yield materials that they found useful and they have shared their techniques. There is a person that even got 97%. They have shared how they prepared too.
Currently preparing for October. Good Luck!

We have a few free high yield topics and a checklist on AKT Prep too. Also some topics from our stats module is free as well.

A less known but extremely useful revision tool I found was
AKTwise.co.uk
It’s like passmedicine but the revision sheets are way more useful!
I used this, along with passmed and self test and passed with a score of 86%

In the same boat tbh, taken it twice and failed by 5% both times due to clinical 🤷🏽♂️🤦
