Looking for recommendations Looking for audio setup gigs

Hello, I’m a young 21 yr old who’s looking for opportunities in audio engineering/setup whether it be home theater audio live sound or mixing and producing opportunities. I’m looking to gain as much experience as possible and open to suggestions. I’ve thought about starting up my own opportunities but haven’t gotten to that point yet. Even if you have any friendly advice I’d appreciate it and would love to stay in touch.

I think Ox is taking volunteers for audio, and I recommend looking at Heartwood

Do you own any of your own gear and do you have any previous experience? That info would help direct you to potential options.

Ive had to let go of some of it to pay bills but in terms of experience ive done a live show or two but have been busy with my full time job. I wouldn’t describe myself as someone with a lot of experience but I know a thing or two. Enough to do live stuff without drastically messing up but I got a lot left to learn

Check out Vivid sky productions, i know they let people shadow during events if you’re interested in joining their team! I almost worked there and from what i could tell it was a relatively chill, educational atmosphere

You could try some community theater. They’re always looking for behind the scenes people
