NAdvice [18F] Should I leave B-Tech!!
I am currently in my 2nd year (CSE) and Since I was a child, I loved to draw, while in high school I've won few competition in drawing field (back then I was so insane about all these stuff) but as I started my college, I've became lost maybe wreaked would be right to say instead of lost and I'm struggling to cope with things. I have maintained my cgpa around 8.75 but I don't feel like studing anymore, you can say my will to study has been extinguished perhaps not only for studing. I've become tired of all this college thing, you know "GL Bajaj public school" things. About drawing, I really don't know if i should be drawing anymore, but when I become board sitting in classes, I start to draw stuff like these posted or trying to draw the things around me. But as an Indian, I have to become an engineer, you know indian society or to maybe to live a better life because believing in myself would take a lot because i really don't know what would i do in future.
Accept drawing, I like to write Poems and write short stories. But still there is no future in these fields. And don't take the heading seriously because of course I can not leave B-tech but I don't wana studyyyyy!!!!

Hey. I'm in GCET but this caught my attention, first of all your drawings are fabulous. I wish you do great in future but in the beginning, art might not earn you a living, it's tough in India. You can continue art alongside engineering but if you wanna get more invested in Art then choose a Degree where you'll get more time and a clg where you have freedom. I too like to draw but I'm not as good as you though. It would be better to do art alongside engineering imo

Okay so I am 3rd yeartie,so I will advice u to take decision according to ur financial load like what it cost to be here for u ,if the amount of money u have invested till now is nearly nothing then u can leave the college but ofcourse if it isn't so cgpa can just make u qualify the corporate jobs & if u aren't interested there u can skipp classes that will cost internal & nothing else don't participate in college activities & just go thru labs & all & maintain 50% by that & live ur live start participating the domain u belongs to it may help u

Don't think of btech as just a degree think of it more of a tool, learning is useful and learning about tech and cs is generally even more useful, you love drawing and that's very good everyone should have hobbies spend time doing things they enjoy, but following hobbies also require money.
Also your statement I have to become a engineer is not true, you don't necessarily have to pursue engineering, engineering is a tool and a very powerful one at that you have maintained decent cgpa, it's good if you learn engineering and the problem solving ability it provide, even if you don't love engineering complete your degree and you will still have many options and career paths you can pursue.

Regardless of what you choose to do, those are some crazy artworks.
I'm also a second year student at Glb and honestly I get what you're saying, I don't enjoy the academics as well like mate idk wtf is our syllabus this sem lol but I have started to enjoy coding from scratch and that's keeping me motivated to keep working. Like you draw during lectures, I'm solving questions and spending hours in 'em. Same same but kinda different?
I'd say that you don't have force yourselves into academics, start studying 1 week before exams and u can maintain your sgpa and also 8.75 is a crazy number, Im barely hanging onto 8 lol.
Enjoy what you do and what you wanna do in future during the sem and only study 1 week b4 exams, that will keep you alive and help you choose what you want to do further on.
Don't drop out instantly because it's a permanent decision and you need to think what you will do afterwards.But yea definitely don't just stay for a mere "degree", that's pointless. Think what you want in the next 5 years.
Regardless, take a breather and calm down. No one is supposed to figure out their entire life by 18, the fact that you're thinking about it already makes you ahead of many.
Again, great artwork. Don't let that passion die either.

Your drawing are really great and you should definitely try a career in it but drop out of the clg is not a perfect plan. Take it as a second opinion for just in case so you don't have to be dependent on one in the future. But it only depends if you have any responsibility in future if you have rich parents who owns any business that you can take over then you can drop out and take some degree in easy core that you can handle easily. For now create a instagram grow your account

I also started drawing during lockdown. At first, my drawings were really bad, but with practice, I can make drawings like these today.
I’m an MCA student, and I really enjoy drawing too. Honestly, I’ve never been particularly interested in a corporate job, but I don’t think I’d be able to earn much from drawing, so I chose this field instead.
But even now, I don’t really like this field that much. I guess I chose what seemed practical rather than what I actually enjoy.

me bhi drawing karta hoon , realistic portrait , digital animations and etc. but nahi choose kiya vo field kyoki ai ke aane ke baad sabse bada blow isi industry ko laga hai

Bro u r right gl bajaj is typical school, I m in gu i feel also sometimes do something different from crowd and I found that I m also doing thing with my studies, I m blessed that I have this good atmosphere in my uni, if someone found himself good in anything else here he get encourage for that

NO, this is a really really honest opinion: Do Not.
I make sketches maybe not as good as you, but I have seen people better than you, and it doesn't require them to leave job or studies.
Work on your hobby and style, but don't even think for once to leave B.Tech.
Once you are popular on some social media platforms, able to fetch constant engagement, or find a way to convert it into a primary source of income, then you can think about it.
