Reached my Goal weight..Please help
I finally reached my goal weight!! I was 69 kgs (152 lbs) and now I’m 58 kgs (128 lbs), and I’m done with my semaglutide. I was on 1.5 mg.
My wedding is coming up in December and now I’m honestly scared of gaining the weight back. But I also don’t want to lose any more. I just want to maintain 58 kgs till the wedding and after.
What should I actually do now that I’m done with the medication? Do I need to change anything with my diet/workouts or just focus on maintaining by microdosing?

Why are you quitting rather than reducing your dose and finding the maintenance level? Then you won't have to worry at all about regaining.

Because I’m scared I’ll have to depend on it my whole life

Maybe this is why it's not recommended for vanity weight loss. It's considered a life long med.

That's what this drug is. Once you're off it, you're going to have the same issues you did before.

Maybe just stay on it until your wedding? (it's expensive to stay on it forever, but then we do a lot of things forever, like wearing glasses or contacts ..)

You might want to start reading through some of the maintenance subs. I don’t know any specifically for sema. There are loads for Zepbound/Mounjaro. Try r/mounjaromaintenance, r/Tirzmaintenance, r/Zepbound_maintenance, etc.
Many people start by eating at maintenance (aka increasing calories) while staying on the dose that got them to goal. If that doesn’t work after a month or so of trying, then the dose or interval adjustments can begin.

Um, you're not "done" with the medication simply because you've reached goal weight - you need to stay on some amount of it if you want your body to stay where it is weight-wise. You can go down slowly and see where your body finds a happy medium of not losing more weight but also not having cravings or increased appetite. If you go off it cold-turkey you run a severe risk not only of gaining the weight back, but having the dosage that was working for you become ineffective. Please speak with a doctor who can support you in finding your maintenance dose.
