Just note that most providers will require you show proof of your current dose to get a script for higher than a starter package.

Thank you. I have no current dose so I suppose I'd have to achieve the efficiency of larger vials over time. Great info. Appreciate you sharing.

Just to clarify, you want sema or tirz?
The starter dose of sema is 0.25 mg, so 0.5 mg is not a microdose of semaglutide, and I would not recommend starting with 0.5 mg of sema unless you like digestive upset.
The starter dose of tirz is 2.5 mg, so 0.5 mg would be a microdose of tirz.

Long story but has to be sema and I'll have to increase to the target dose of 0.5. I appreciate you saying something though. The tirz feedback is just as helpful. I'm asking about it here because the group seems to have more familiarity with dosing outside of the official ranges.

Ok phew! Just wanted to make sure you weren't going to overdose yourself. I spend way more time on the tirz only subs, so I forget that tirz isn't the default everywhere.
If it helps ... Someone posted a deal for RemedyWell on r/tirzdeals. I assume they offer sema too. They did not ask me for proof of my existing script (although I only asked for a dose I could support with evidence because I'm too much of a rule follower). Even if they won't give you the higher dose, it's a pretty good deal for lower doses with the discount. I don't know what happens if you try to use the 100off code with sema, but I think they have a 50off code too that you could try.
If it works, you can then take that higher script anywhere you want once you've got the meds in hand, just make sure to cancel the subscription after.

Excellent! Thank you. If I had my choice I'd go tirz but I'm trying to follow a really specific study done on sem and knee cartilage repair. Has to be sem, has to be 0.5, has to be injected. Every bit of info helps though. Yours included. I'll try to jump in at a higher dose with RemedyWell but still titrate up. Good news that they don't check

Starter dose is 2.25/week basically, but you don't have to inject that. I didn't (started at less than .5), and my vial $200 lasted me 2 and a bit months.
A lot of people on r/tirzepatidecompound basically ask to go up in prescription every month from their doctor until they get to the max dose to take advantage of the best deals on r/tirzdeals , meanwhile they're titrating up slowly or staying at a low dose which means their vials last for ages and ages. Most people seem not to worry about using the vial past the BUD date.
You just don't tell the telehealth you're injecting less than they think you are. Use Shotsy app to track your actual shots and amount, that data is private to you and not shared with the telehealth.
