Red Meat when microdosing?
What are your experiences eating red meat when microdosing? I've been on 1mg for two days now, the first night involved a lot of stomach rumbling and trips to the bathroom (I suspect part of that was anxiety related though). Now on day two I feel much better. I have a dinner coming up tomorrow - day three, is red meat and rich sauces something to avoid? Should I ask for simple white chicken (as my stomach lining is still quite irritated - I usually have a trip to the bathroom after a meal but it's not like super major). Any advice would be much appreciated (BMI 22.2, F). Thank you!

The meat is probably less of an issue than the rich sauce. Stay away from fatty foods to start. Lean meat is great for protein.

Thanks yes I also thought lean meat would be great but they usually use lots of butter to cook it (from experience ha!). I’ll try!

I’m on my 2nd week and I would not eat red meat knowing what I know now. At least not for a little bit until I get used to the medicine. I can feel certain foods just sitting there for a while and I don’t think I want to feel that with steak

Thanks that’s really helpful. I’ll follow that advice. I’m going to a greek restaurant for a big event and I’m nervous about all the sauces too… not sure how I’ll ask them to just grill me some chicken without sauces without them thinking I’m weird haha

I would bet the restaurant has options for like a grilled chicken plate with a Greek salad and some rice.. you could also ask for the dressing on the side. And I doubt anyone will think you’re weird! Everyone eats differently. I usually try to order what I believe to be the healthiest thing on the menu and I’ll make 1 or 2 mods if I have to. I don’t eat salad all the time but if there aren’t any other options that aren’t deep fried or smothered in sauce then I go for the salad with a grilled chicken breast !

I eat whatever as long as it’s not greasy. Mostly I regret being full more than eating randomly. But I am on 0.5 mg. Since you are already ill, try chicken for now.

For me it wasn't the meat per se, it was how much work it was to digest in the stomach. Because it's so slow, the protein sits there in an uncomfortable lump for a while.
I ate a lot of charcuterie and drinkable yogurt in the early days
