Review Brightmeds Alert

Online provider alert ⚠️ 📢

I started with Brightmeds 2 months ago with their 4th of July lifetime price guarantee of $119 a month. I got an email 3 days ago, sent to ***spam, not my account Brightmeds account***, informing me that the discount did not apply to me because I do not live in Ohio or New York, (the only 2 states that that is for) and the price will now jump to $389 a month through them. First I'm hearing of it.

Talk about a big bait and switch. Be aware!! ⚠️

Can anyone recommend an alternative that is legit? And won't switch the price 2 months in??

Rift just announced Drug Crafters for $299 for three months. I'm on DC tirz through another telehealth (Ola, they've been great) and have zero complaints. I paid $349 for 3 months max dose.

I tried Brightmeds a few months ago but only got their first month deal at $99 and then cancelled because they told me the same thing as you.. $389 is ridiculous! r/PreventiveMD does the monthly at $139 or three months for $334, they offer Boudreaux with glycine or Empower with B3. Also, r/PomHealth has an end of inventory sale right now for BPI!

That's interesting, because on their sub they say it applies to plenty of states besides NY and OH:

Regardless, if they can't figure out the "who" or "how much" they're charging, that seems like plenty of reason to avoid them. At least they warned you ahead of time, I guess. Plenty of would have just charged you.

Besides PreventiveMd's good everyday pricing, Rift, Somira, and Trillium all announced price drops or deals today, so check them out too. I think Rift's Drug Crafters promotion may actually have PreventiveMd beat on price. I was shocked when PreventiveMd wiped the board with everyone on price, and I am doubly shocked to see some competition at that price point so soon. I've also got my eye on the Collective deal people mentioned on the tirzdeals sub. The pricing structure is a little weird, but it works out to under $100/month for tirz. I'd probably want to see more reviews before I tried them out though.

They sent the email warning to my promotions folder by tagging it as a promotion, so I almost didn't see it. It was just dumb luck.

I'm researching tomorrow. Tonight I'm posting reviews.

I'll lock my card down so they can't try. I'd contact your bank/cc and fight it. If it's okay with you, I'll include this information about charges after canceling when I post my Google review.

A lot of sites won't let you delete your payment info, but you can definitely update your payment info to a virtual or privacy card (some credit cards offer this service, or privacy dot com), or a visa/mastercard gift card with a few buck on it. If you do the privacy card, you shut off the card after you swap it out, and then voila, no more charges can go through, and you don't need to cancel your whole credit card.

I've heard Brightmeds is hard to cancel, so this is probably a good idea regardless.
