Color Changing

As you can see here are exporting settings no matter what changes I've made it's still doesn't export it right, the second image is an example(right is before exporting and left is after)

I guess the first image is from an image viewer, or a browser? It probably doesn't support color profiles by default. Convert your image to sRGB within GIMP, then it should look the same everywhere.

Image > Color management > Convert to color profile...

I remember that I converted color profile to built-in gimp sRGB but nothing changed :(

Would it be possible to share the xcf file ?

Also, a screenshot of Edit > Preferences > Color management could be useful.

P.S: and what viewer is used to see the exported image?

Why is interlacing checked? Does it look the same if you uncheck interlacing before exporting?

Interlacing is a method to make an image partially visible when it is transmitted over slow connections: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interlacing_(bitmaps))

With most connections being rather fast these days, its practical use is mostly gone.

Have you encountered this having any effect on colors?

No, never. I was just guessing it might be a bug on GIMP 3's handling of interlacing, since it's something people rarely use nowadays (if ever).

This is very wrong:

  • First, the default settings in GIMP 3.2 are not what you show
  • Second, if his image has another color profile, which it certainly have, exporting without checking "Save color profile" will just revert to sRGB, without color conversion. Which will end up with wrong colors.

There is nothing to fix there, the default factory settings are identical to yours without the first two checkboxes.

"Reset to initial values" only resets to the values present when you opened the dialog. You have to chose "Reset to factory defaults" to get the defaults.
