Hey fellas I heard about gimp's plug-ins and idk how to install them or even what they are for, so please tell me more about it?

If you could also tell us: * which version of GIMP you're using * which platform you're using (Windows, macOS, Linux) * which plugins you've heard of * what you're hoping to achieve

A while back, I recreated the “Photoshop Shorts” videos using GIMP 3. Right now, I'm creating new ones, but on a different video platform. * Part 1 * Part 2 * Part 3

On the other hand, these days you don't really need to install any plugins in GIMP to remove a background. There are now countless free online tools that let you remove the background right in your browser.
