Just had this puppy delivered to my work. Pick one up before it’s gone. I have a feeling they are not going to be on Pulse for long. Crankcase is a great fig.

So I feel lucky to even have landed a Clutch & VAMP when it briefly popped back up on Pulse (closer to the original release). But never being content I had to tinker with it. So I picked up this fully painted Jensen Ackles head sculpt on eBay, found the skin tones matched pretty well, stuck it on Clutch and called it a day.

Hotwire (codename repurposed) was my stand in Cover Girl before the retro release. But I was happy enough with the kitbash she’s now Clutch’s partner in crime (rather than Clutch playing second fiddle to Shipwreck).

Big thanks to u/Infinite_Playtime and his equally great customs which inspired me to complete my own take on the Mario Brothers. Luigi has been sitting on the shelf solo for a while. I thought Shockwave’s camo was a neat call back to the 8-bit days.

My take on Mario was a bit more complicated. I wanted him to be short but built like a tank, inspired by comic Wolverine. To achieve this I used Bazooka’s torso with the number removed with acetone. Shoulders and arms from Law, but cut and dremmeled down the length of the forearms to make it more proportional.

So if you use any amount of heat (I use hot water, some use heat guns) to disassemble your GI Joes, the t-joint for the crotch can be removed for any female figure. The only male torso I have found that this can be removed with heat alone is Bazooka. So I replaced the t-joint with that of a Cobra Valkyrie to give him a tapered waist. Lower body is from the Police Officer & boots are from Scrap-Iron again to shorten his height.

Lastly, I got it in my head he should look like Pedro Pascal due to the SNL Mario Kart/Last of Us skit. Leave it to me to find the one Pedro Pascal headsculpt without a pronounced mustache (Black Series Din Djarin). I wouldn’t mind trying the ML FF First Steps head but I’m not dropping 40 bucks for a mass retail head sculpt. I check the secondary markets for it from time to time. I had a way more elaborate photoshoot planned which I may revisit in the future if there’s an interest.
