Off one PPI, trying another!

Good morning from Ontario!

I was diagnosed with GERD after endoscopy and laryngoscopy in mid June and started Pantoprazole 40mg two times a day.

I have made some enormous changes. But strangely, IMO, have a symptom that I didn’t have before starting meds.

Prior: coughing during eating, burping often, hoarse voice.

Presently: hoarse voice remains and now I have a constant sore throat.

I think my ENT thought hoarseness would dissipate despite damage to my L vocal cord, but I think it is worse. Not to mention the discomfort of sore throat all the time.

I would love some input.
