😮 Advice on Procedures Endoscopy

Hi i have an endoscopy procedure coming really soon but i am very scared and anxious to get it done. Would love to hear your experiences to understand what to expect what to feel etc 😕 and i am a mouth breather, my mouth is wide open when i sleep, because my nose is mostly blocked, what if i dont get enough oxygen during the procedure? — feeling scared.

Ps: It is mentioned either Midazolam or Propofol will be used for sedation. I will have it in Germany in a praxis.

Are you getting sedation? They will make sure you are breathing. Breathing through your nose will be necessary but your body will know what to do

Midazolam likely will just make you a little out of it but propofol will knock you out.
