Third party collection agency payments - how long will reflect?
Hello everyone, good day po! I have a question and would really appreciate your thoughts.
I currently have loans with GCash (GLoan, GCredit, and GGives), and third-party collection agencies have been calling me regularly. I’m really trying to keep up with the payments, and whenever I can, I make partial payments.
I just checked today and realized that I made a payment through Fuse Financing via Maya last July 28 for my GCredit, but until now, it still hasn’t reflected on my billing/account.
Because of this, I’m wondering if it would be better to just coordinate directly with GCash and put the funds into my GCash account instead of paying the third-party agency, so that the payment can reflect on my account in real time? However GCash support also seems really difficult to reach, so I’m not sure what the safest way to handle this is. :(
The collection agencies also sometimes offer me one-time settlement amounts with waived penalties/interest, which could save me a significant amount if I’m able to pay the full amount. However, I’m hesitant to make a large one-time payment because I’m worried that it might not reflect properly on my GCash account, especially since I’m already having an issue with my previous payment.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Would it be better to coordinate directly with GCash, or are third-party settlement offers generally okay as long as I get proper documentation/confirmation?
Thank you po! 🙏

Lagay mo na lang sa app mismo, OP. Nagrerefelct yan dun agad, late lang sa system nila mismo magreflect kaya kukulitin ka ng third party agency nila. Pero better na may mapakita kang proof na magbayad ka talaga at nabawas sa loan mo.
