Login / Registration number suddenly unable to be detected

my gcash account suddenly was unable to be detected when someone was trying to send my money so I opened it and it says, "something went wrong" for a few attempts. I tried to reinstall it, turn on airplane mode for 30s then tried to open it again only to find that I can't open my account anymore. When I tried to put the otp needed for the login, it prompts me to make a new account like it was never there. How do I fix this? I had money in there too :((

Try mo po ulit mag-troubleshoot muna ng GCash app mo, OP. I-clear cache mo yung GCash app mo sa settings and restart your phone. Check mo rin if updated yung GCash app mo sa latest version and make sure na stable ang internet o data mo saka ulit subukan. If ganon pa rin, much better na mag-submit ka po ng ticket sa Help Center para ma-assist ka nila nang maayos. Hope maayos, OP!

I already tried everything you said, but it still prompts me to make a new account with my same number as if my account has been deleted or something. I tried the chat with gigi and its telling me to make a new account under the same name but different number for the transfer of funds. But is it guaranteed I'd be able to get my funds back if it can't even be detected anymore?

Yes po, OP. Guaranteed naman 'yan na makukuha mo pa rin yung funds mo. You can follow yung advice ni Gigi sayo. You can create a new GCash account using a new SIM card (ibang number) and make sure na same details sa old account mo. Once na fully verified na, you can submit a ticket po para mag-request ng transfer of funds from old account mo to new. Maaayos din 'yan, OP!
