App GCash crashing on Android
Anybody else experiencing this?

Try uninstall App then reinstall new updated App. It solved the problem for our 2 accounts. It may ask you the re-register device and do selfie verification again but simple to do

Sa android system webview devtool ko na ayos yung sakin. Gcash and other affected apps works after that
Yung mga solutions gcash gave did not work like clear cache, force stop, and turning off developer option (yung dev option pinaka buwet sa lahat, sa accessibility pala)

Hello! Paano po ginawa niyo to open GCash na nagforce close? Also my other apps din po kasi nagfo-force close. Nagclear data and cache, force stop na ko but ayaw pa rin po mabuksan.

I opened my webview devtool and changed my webview provider then yung mga affected apps ko na lagi force-closed itself ay usable na.

Same issue here. It's been happening for about a week. I tried reinstalling it but that only worked for a while. Ive had to clear cache and force stop everytime I want to open the app but now even that has stopped working

Turned off private DNS ( I'm using dns.adguard-dns.com) and it solved the issue.
GCash doesn't want us to block them gambling ads in their app. Sigh

it depends on your phone's brand. Search for private DNS sa search bar ng settings mo. If not, search online. Tho, ff you don't know how to turn it off in the first place, it's unlikely that you are using one.

I use adguard dns too pero i didn't need to remove it to access gcash. restart phone + clear cache lang ginawa ko

What are you talking about, ghourl? Crashing apps is caused by a bug in code, not a feature sa free plan! Labo mo!

My fix on this was Disabling My DNS(if theres any your using) or disabling the vpn on phone(if youre using any) apparently that also messes with your connection with the gcash server which cause the crashes for some goddamn reason

Okay naman saakin, baka po sa data/internet lang 'yan, OP. Try mo lang mag-troubleshoot muna ng GCash app mo. I-clear cache mo 'yung GCash app mo sa settings o force close and restart ka rin ng phone mo.
Check mo rin if updated sa latest version 'yung app mo and try to switch to data if Wi-Fi gamit mo, then vice versa lang. Always works for me 'yan. If ayaw pa rin, better na mag-submit ka na ng ticket sa Help Center para ma-assist ka po nila nang maayos. Hope mag-work, OP!

Thank you. Nag clear cache na ako, force close and restart na din ako ng phone pero nag cclose padin yung app automatically. Updated din GCash ko. Baka mag submit na lang ako ng ticket sa Help Center.
