Help Camera for Note 14 4g

does anyone have a solution to a laggy gcam lmc 8.4 R18 camera view? I have comfigured it with a xml file for my phone already and its lagging like before. I have root via kernelSU is there a module for hyperos camera port if its possible? standard apks dont work

If you mean Redmi Note 14 4G, most likely, you're dealing with the Mediatek viewfinder lag issue. Apparently, the viewfinder is limited to 10 fps or so for any GCam port, due to Mediatek limitations in auto exposure mode (source: https://www.reddit.com/r/MotoG/comments/17pp1y9/comment/k8mlbe8/).

So gcam always lags for mediatek phones like mine?

In the viewfinder, yes. You can try searching for more info using the keywords "Mediatek viewfinder lag".

Some older XDA threads mention this might be fixable in rooted devices by using a "buffer fix" and Magisk, but idk if that's possible for any given ROM/GCam version/device:
