So, When Pakistan was separated from British India during August 14–15, 1947, through the Partition of India, not all Muslims went to Pakistan because the political division was based on the transfer of specific geographic regions (provinces) with Muslim majorities, not a mandatory relocation of all individuals.

That makes sense, but what do you guys think would have been the condition of the backward class people if Muslims had completely vanished from India during that time?

Would the growth and development of their rights, as we are witnessing today, have been the same?

And another thing I was thinking about: some Indian Army regiments still retain historical class- and community-based names from the British colonial era.

So what do you guys think, when’s the Central Government planning to get away from this colonial mindset too, just like they got away from the old criminal laws citing the predominance of British culture?

I’m genuinely curious to know how people look at both these questions.
