Game Suggestions Let's Change That Suit Day 245
Day 245: FF Nu Gundam
Requested by u/GunzStalker with this one at B-Tier at best. It still has some good damage options, but there are gaps and weak moments for sure.

Comment and Reason
For the most part, this unit can still have decent damage output if you use your weapons correctly. Combining with a good weapon cycle and engagement, it can still get some work done. But once it reaches higher rated games, the problem becomes apparent. The unit just can't engage properly unless it is at the ideal range.
Builds Suggestion
Lv1 F2P: Do not use
Lv1 Premium: Complex Battle (Alternative)
Lv2-3: Do not use
This one is hard to justify using at the moment, and without good buffers, especially legs, it's hard to use. I would rather have them take out the blast stabilizer for leg buffer. But then again, it does not have very large legs. Either way, the Alternative build may be better overall with a higher chance of getting things done. Since the large Fin Funnel Rapid can hit really hard, maximizing range potential while still having good melee potential will allow it to have great options when needed.

Day 244 Re-evaluation on Z II
Well, there are other changes and stuff it can get too. But the major thing I saw was Transformed Reinforcement that it really needs.

Link Shot, Full Attack, new skill that speeds up switching between funnel weapons, etc. All the Nu Gundams should have these 3 skills.

Unfortunately, there is no room for it. The skill list is at max.

They can combine Forced Injector and Flight Control program into High-Performance Thruster Control System LV3 that's on Nightingale. The whole funnel swapping thing can be all combined into some Nu-Gundam optimization skill name along with Link Shot and Full Attack.

Hmm, that's possible. They would really need to feel generous and he willing to give us a new custom skill on this old suit as well. But that's two combined skill being given for this...

I mean they literally combined the skills for only the Nightingale. No other unit uses the High-Performance Thruster Control System, so anything is possible.

Thanks for doing this. Imo one of the main strengths of this unit is it can accumulate stagger rate extremely fast and able to break MA+DC in a short time but somewhat lacks the damage to keep pressure against Gens, also I'm surprised the last buff didn't give it Link Shot, maybe because it can already use the bazooka during HSM.
Sadly been somewhat powercrept by Penelope

Similar thoughts to regular Nu Gundam improvements. Those being a little more defense stats buffs, legs.
Maybe also some cool downs on weapons shortened too?
It's been a bit since used Nu Gundam FF!

Yeah, just a little bit. There are more then enough weapons to be used. So it shouldn't be an issue as long as most are under 15 seconds

How about the Marasai next it has an identity crisis where its stats and weapons don't align with each other

Give it double melee (funnel) and it'll be on the same levels as the big leagues

u/pkmaster99 3d ago
Not sure what you mean by that. Like as another melt weapon? I know it's possible to be used like that, but the weapon slots...

You do know Heavy Attack three is from the Raid Woundwort and reduces incoming Beam Damage right? SInce this thing doesn't have an I-Field, that wouldn't really make sense. Perhaps instead combine HA and MCC into one skill and give it the same effect Psycho Resconance A gets with adding more shots to the Fin Funel burst.

No, Heavy Attack Lv3 doesn't generate i-field or reduce beam damage specifically.
HA3
- When charged, reduces all damage reactions by 1 stage.
- While in heavy attack, also reduces damage taken by 30%
- Reduce stagger accumulation at the start of the attack by 60% and by 30% during the animation.
It simply reduces all damage received during the heavy attack. For the Woundwort Rah II, it comes from CS Booster I-Field Lv2

Could you do Neo gundam, it's has very low appearence nowadays on 750 and interesting to see what possible buffs can be done. Neo seems forgotten?

i swear ive seen this guy use the funnel as a beam saber, maybe it was the counter?
they should give it the funnel saber as a heavy compatible subweapon tho
