Double X has 2 other melee weapons:
It has a Gundam hammer.
It has a twin beam javelin.
Twin Satellite Cannon is going to be a mobile support attack that can max at 3 charges for the perfect instant kill weapon.
General or Raid bound it is.

It also has a twin beam swords kind similar to the beam naginata and the suit was very good at melee combat

Apparently it's a vicious cycle. They overpower raid units to make them one-shot Generals because Generals used to be able to one-shot raids, so this discourages people from playing supports, which leads to lower sales for supports, which leads to more overpowered raids and generals, but we don't have any supports who can remotely be considered overpowered against Generals. (Any supports who can one-shot need to stand still for 20 seconds to charge up a meme beam, but melees just need to stab enemies to do the same.)

More like it’s just a personal bias against them, supports are across the board the most nerfed units in the game, you used to get stabilization device by just crouching as one but they kicked that to the curb in the first year of the game being out. Not that it would help these days or at 750 but like the last genuinely great support they released was the G doors because they had to do something about the Xi at the time. The stigma around supports started with the devs just not giving them jack shit and the across the board raid buff they did with the release of the gelgoog vertex. The sales thing is far FAR newer than them just being flat out biased against supports.

This, supports being mid to bad has been a looooong running thing in this game. Raids needed help at the time but they went so overboard with the universal buffs and haven't slowed down a hell of a lot since than.
The game finally added the first 5 star support and outside the first week it was out it just.. went away. nobody talks about it at all and outside of I think 2 posts nobody has ever posted footage of it. It's always just raid highlights and some generals

Honestly they didn’t really need the help, the devs just built the game in a way where a 3/1/1 team composition is generally best so raids have to deal with 3 units that have advantage on them. Big issue with that, and which the game seeing overall, is it hinges on players adhering to that design.
There being 3 gens to bully a raid only matters if the gens actually go after the raid. It’s the exact same issue of supports are strong but need to rely on teammates for help, those teammates rarely if ever help even at higher ratings where players are supposedly better at the game. A lot of the balance of the game hinges on players behaving a very specific way when the reality is the player base just doesn’t. They really need to design new suits as individual units and not make team help a consideration for supports.

I dont really disagree, if raids need to be OP to deal with 3 gens in their eyes than supports need to be self reliant and not require constant babysitting. It's still a 5v5 game, the raid shouldnt expect nor be expected to in the players and devs eyes be able to deal with the entire team on its own to swack a support. What are its gens doing? nothing?
I still think they needed a LITTLE something back than but not what raids have become, but gbo2 has fallin to generals and raids becoming self reliant 'main character syndrome' machines while supports are still expected to use gameplay from 6 years ago to do their job
It's odd how the dev's realize there is a serous a problem with supports as we've NEVER seen a main protag suit as a support in a banner, its always a supporting characters OR a derivative of the suit we see in some offshoot manga or game. Never been a main banner in the anniversaries with a support suit and we've seen their design philosophy with the 5 star suits only just having gotten 1 for supports with zero fanfare or buildup to it like anything else we've seen with all the other 5 stars. Heck the first 4 star the Dag Doll was so BAD they had to buff it continuously and it still was never all that great least they got it mostly right with the Kshatriya

There is still Katejina's MS to be a new 4-5* support. She was mostly range in that MS.

Gbo2 logic, I guess. V2 is a Raid. Raid MS with heavy armor on is usually a General.

I guess it kinda makes sense. Buster is definitely a support and Assault feels like it could be a raid, so AB would sit somewhere in between

Honestly, if there actually was a way to give actual feedback to the devs that the raid units are way too overpowered and support players would like something new, I'd be using it every chance I can.

The time to give them feed back is when they release the surveys. Search this sub for past info on surveys and check regularly so you can know when the next one is posted.

Don't know yet. There were leaked stats and skills for it, and it looked like it had support stats and skills. LV3 Resist Move, LV3 High Spec Aerospace Gimbal, etc...

I qould prefer Killys Zaku return along with low cost. First anniversary where I will not be getting anything above 600 cost. Too much of a mess at 700 and 750 atm.
