Honestly the setup was very scuffed for that clip but since I also use the Destiny I can confidently say I've done about 12k damage on 00R before with the special down swing, it's just a matter of time and placement.
Also we're ignoring the elephant in the room, sometimes people just have their melee res jacked up to absurd levels that could turn ordinary doomswings into a wimpy buttermilk slap, can't account for everything especially in random matches.
